BOB & PATS DRIVE IT DAY RUN

  At 10.30am on Sunday 24th April a group of intrepid club members left Wickes car park in Haverfordwest for a Drive It Day outing. Led by Pat and Bob they made their way to Clarbeston Road where they found a little used road that took them over Mynydd Preseli to Crymmych enjoying spectacular views on the way. From Crymmych down to Llechryd and then on to the Tesco store in Cardigan where a comfort stop was had. A few more club members joined when we departed heading towards Aberaeron on the A 487.

Just before Aberaeron we turned right off the main road and headed down towards Llanerchaeron where we visited an historic mansion house complete with a range of out buildings and its own farm yard. On the return journey we kept to the main A487 and stopped off at the New Inn near Brynhoffnant where we had a delicious meal before departing and heading homeward. The weather kept fine throughout the day and a successful run was enjoyed by all.
