A Very warm welcome to everyone from Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club
The club was formed in 1983 by John Gilchrist,to promote a local interest in Classic Cars and provide it's members with an outlet for their absorbing hobby. The club provides a forum for old car enthusiasts, county wide in which technical problems can be discussed with fellow members.
On a social note,we travel to organised rallies go on club runs and shows all over the county, some even venture a little further afield. We also organise our own show annually on the first Sunday in June, displaying our cars and viewing a variety of others.
The club is open to all owners and enthusiasts (car ownership not essential) of cars produced since the war, including any car no longer in production.
Meetings are held at Haverfordwest Cricket Club, Dale Road, on the Last Thursday of the month between September and June.
The annual subscription helps towards the production of the club newsletter, and is also used to buy equipment, e.g. gazebos, flags and subsidises some social gatherings.
We look forward to meeting you and can promise you a very warm welcome.
"NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME" please visit the 'Contact Us' for an application form.
Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club is a very active car club with 100 members at the present time, we love going to shows and our member also like to arrange days out visiting places of interest then stopping for a meal before going home, we also arrange picnic days and chip runs, we are often asked to attend local events ranging from Museum openings, also fun days to carnivals as an added attraction for the public.
We hold our annual show on the first Sunday in JUNE every year, and after the show we donate a percentage of the money collected at the show to the charity chosen by the members at the start of the year, after the 2015 show we donated £2500 to the Pembrokeshire branch of the Autistic & Aspergers Society, £2500 to Pembrokeshire Cancer Support & £2500 to Shalom House Hospice.
The cars in the club range from 1926 right up to modern classics, we do -not state any given year as a cut off, if you consider your car a classic then we will too !!
