BABS broke the World Land Speed Record on two consecutive days in 1926. To celebrate the centenary of this, the car will be back on the beach on the 27th April this year.

When Thomas broke the record in 1926, BABS went on display in Selfridges in London. The money Thomas received was donated to sponsor a cot at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. As was done at the 90th anniversary celebrations, we will be making a collection for this and one other childrens charity. The event on the beach is free to attend, but we ask that you consider bringing an appropriate sum in cash to donate to these worthy causes.
